Jen was born and raised in Canada and has been creating things since she was a little girl. In 2021, she chose to break away from her comfort zone and marry her best friend who resided in the USA. They have now been married for 2 years, and she is thankful for each day she has with her little family. She has a very supportive husband, and stepdaughter.  Jen has two cats, Boo Boo (2 years old) and Draka (1 year old) Both sisters from different litters from the feral barn cats.  When she's not being a mom she's either gaming with the occasional Twitch Stream, watching some Discovery+ and creating things!

 

She loves resin pouring as the the possibilities are endless.  There has always been one goal in mind with her creations. Do it for the love of it.  Although we'd like to get a small shop going and attend local events to sell works; it's a lengthy process to build up inventory and we are working on a website to sell what's already been created.

In the mean time, her new focus is Rudders Creations, a local business in Ohio; where people can work with her to create their dream cosplay's or garments! Having 2 dress forms she can do sizes 8-48.

 

Rudder (AKA Jen) believes that art is a way for many to express themselves however they may be feeling. She has a very big love hate relationship with her creativity. It requires patience, practice and motivation. She finds that her emotions often effect how productive she can be when she sits down, focus' and gets to creating. Once she's engrossed into the project, she enters her own little word.  Before we know it; it's been hours since she started, and it's the end of the day!   - This is also the reason behind our logo! A planet/world to call all of her own.

The majority of her work these days consists of Cosplay crafting! - But what she started with was Sketching, then Cosplay. Cosplay includes: sewing, sculpting, EVA foam work, painting, sketching and more. Other works include character designs, digital works, traditional painting, knitting, sculptures, moccasins, resin pouring and beading just to name a few.
